Question: What is the
authenticity of these two hadiths: First, “Allaah loves two rows: the row of
Salaah and the row of Jihaad.” Second, “By Allaah, if they were to place
the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand in order to abandon this affair, I would not abandon it”?
Response: I don’t
know the first hadeeth and I haven’t heard of it until this moment. As for the
second hadeeth, it is a weak hadeeth. However, it is well known in books of
biography [of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)]. Nevertheless, the chain of narrators is not
authentic.
